The Meguiar's Quik Clay Detailing System is the ultimate solution for removing bonded contaminants from your cars paintwork. Tree sap, overspray and industrial fallout are just a few examples that can build up over time and bond to the paintwork of your car. These contaminants can make the paint surface feel rough as well as making the simple job of polishing your car a tougher challenge than it needs to be.
The Quik Clay Detailing System will quickly and safely restore a smooth-as-glass finish to your car's paintwork. Whilst the detailing spray lubricates and cleanses the paintwork, the clay bar is dragged across the surface picking up everything in its path.
If you thought you car was clean after a good wash, then you will be amazed at the results this product can achieve. Simply looking at the white clay bar after a few passes will reveal the bonded dirt and grime that you would not have known was there. The surface will feel so much smoother afterwards allowing polishes and waxes to be applied and removed in half the time with dramatically improved results.
This kit consists of a 473ml bottle of detaling spray plus an 85g clay bar packaged in a box containing full instructuions.
Note: for best results you should turn and knead the clay bar periodically to avoid excess build up of dirt. I found that there was enough clay to only use half at any one time. That way if you ever dropped the clay bar you were using then you still have a spare.
Warning: Do not be temped to continue to use a clay bar after it has been dropped on the floor. The clay can attract all sorts of dirty particles and if small hard fragments get embedded into the clay then there is danger that they will come into contact with your paintwork causing lasting damage.
